As dusk fell, Eva slowly woke up.
She had slept for a long time.

As they spoke, Emily quickly turned on the bedside lamp. Previously, they were only able to see the furnishings in the room with the natural light from outside, so the sudden brightness from the lamp made Eva squint uncomfortably for a moment. After adjusting for a while, she regained her composure.
