Not long after Emily hung up the phone and lay down, there was a knock on her room door.
She opened her eyes in confusion, somewhat speechless.
Why was it so noisy this early in the morning?
Emily was annoyed to the extreme, but she had no choice but to get up. As she walked, she thought about buying her own small house after the New Year. Wouldn’t it be nice to sleep as long as she wanted? After opening the door, Emily saw her mom’s smiling face, and beside her was Emily’s aunt.
