“I said go.” Skye looked up. “Take your contract. I’m waiving the non-compete p>
“You’re… letting me go?” Harrison sounded suspicious.
“I’m cleaning house,” Skye said. She signaled to Manager Wang. “Give him the release forms p>
Harrison signed them, grinning. “You’re crazy, Skye. You’re losing your biggest star p>
“I’m losing a liability,” Skye muttered as he left.
She knew Harrison. In her past life, he had been embroiled in a massive tax-evasion scandal that nearly sank the company. She was sending a ticking time bomb to Liam.

The door opened. Gabriel Ross walked in.
He looked like a homeless person. Long, greasy hair, a beard that hid half his face, and clothes that had seen better days. He smelled of cigarettes and old rain.
