Hearing this, Miles immediately interjected, “If we’re talking about improving circulation, I believe modern medicine is the way to go. It acts faster p>
“Mr. Stewart, Mr. Matthew Stewart,” Miles continued, addressing them both, his tone toward Arabella slightly mollified but still competitive. “I propose we try an intravenous treatment first. If it proves ineffective, then the young doctor can step in. If it works well, further intervention may be unnecessary.” He was determined not to be outdone by this girl.

Robert actually preferred to proceed with Arabella, but Matthew’s suggestion gave him pause, and a look of hesitation crossed his face.
Arabella noticed Robert’s dilemma, and she also saw Miles‘ eagerness to prove himself, backed by Matthew’s recommendation. Since they still lacked full trust in her, she decided to let him have his attempt. She would then step in decisively, leaving him no grounds for argument. That would shut him up for good.
With this in mind, Arabella spoke plainly, “Sir, there’s no need for a dilemma. Since Miles is so eager to alleviate the gentleman’s discomfort, let him proceed. If his method proves insufficient, I will intervene p>
Seeing Arabella being so accommodating, the hesitation on Robert’s face gradually faded. He decided to give Miles this final chance. If the treatment failed again, he would not only replace him but also instruct Matthew to withdraw all investments from his affiliated hospital

Miles hurriedly began checking Robert’s vitals. During his examination, Robert’s condition abruptly deteriorated. His body began to twitch uncontrollably.
Seeing this, Arabella stepped forward without hesitation and removed the IV line from Robert’s hand.
She had initially assumed Miles, as a licensed physician, wouldn’t resort to such aggressive medication. She hadn’t expected his desire for quick results to lead him to use such a potent formulation. It seemed the time for giving Miles chances was over.
Seeing Arabella disconnect the IV, Matthew demanded, “What are you doing p>
“The patient is having a reaction. If you want him to live, don’t interfere with me stabilizing him!” Without even glancing at Matthew, Arabella retrieved a case of slender, specialized needles and swiftly inserted. them at precise points on Robert’s body.
