When Dylan and Harper emerged from the store with the supplements for Freya, Matthew and Arabella were long gone.
“Sweetie, do you think they’ve left already?” Harper asked, looking around anxiously.
“Don’t worry. They’re definitely gone.”
“Get in the car.”
Dylan then started the car and drove with Harper toward Kindwell Hospital.
At the hospital’s main information desk, Dylan and Harper inquired, “We’d like to see Dr. Macdonald. Which department is she in?”
“Dr. Macdonald is a private physician specially retained by Mr. Stewart. She only attends to him and does not accept other patients.
“If you need medical attention, I can direct you to another available doctor.”
Hearing this, Dylan and Harper stared in shock.
They said in unison, “Arabella is Mr. Stewart’s private doctor?!”
“Yes, that’s correct. Is there an issue?” The receptionist looked at their exaggerated reactions and concluded they must be unwell.
Dylan waved a weak hand, looking dazed, and pulled Harper away.
The receptionist shook her head. “Some people.
Outside the hospital, Dylan muttered, “Arabellas, at best, some kind of doctor. When did she suddenly become Mr. Stewart’s personal physician?!”
Harper added jealously, “What ‘personal physician? I bet she got the title because of Mr. Matthew Stewart. It’s all for show.
“One day, when she messes up Mr. Stewart’s medication, she’ll end up in court and be exposed for the fraud she is.”
“Freya said she never went to medical school. There’s definitely something fishy going on.
“We can’t just stand by and watch her act so high and mighty. We need to teach her a lesson!” Dylan said, her eyes gleaming with spite.

“Let’s go home and post the photos we took of her today online. That’ll ruin her reputation!” Harper said smugly, already savoring the thought.
“Alright, let’s head back.”

Early the next morning, Arabella was still asleep when her phone began buzzing incessantly on the nightstand.
Annoyed, she grabbed it and switched it to silent mode.
Finally, peace. She could sleep a little longer.
But just as she was drifting off again, a persistent knock on the door woke her.
“Who is it?” Arabella asked irritably.
“Arabella, are you awake?” Florence’s voice came from the other side of the door.
Hearing it was her mother, Arabella softened her tone. “Yes, I’m up.”
“Then I’m coming in.” Florence pushed the door open and walked in.
Seeing Arabella sitting up in bed, rubbing her sleepy eyes, Florence looked at her fondly. “Did you sleep well? Breakfast is almost ready. If you’re still tired, you can rest a bit longer.”
“I slept enough. I’ll come down to eat,” Arabella said, forcing her eyes fully open.
Florence gently brushed a stray strand of hair from Arabella’s forehead, her eyes full of tenderness. “You look so sweet like this.”
Arabella offered a warm, sleepy smile in return.
Then she followed Florence downstairs to the dining room.
In the dining room, Arabella had just sat down and taken a sip of orange juice to wake herself up when Naomi hurried over, clutching her phone.
With clear displeasure in her eyes, Naomi thrust her phone screen toward Arabella. “What is this? When did you go shopping with Matthew? And why is your hand on his arm?”
Although Arabella’s face was clearly visible in the photos, the man beside her was only shown from the side or from behind.
Even so, Naomi could tell from his posture and build that it was Matthew.

She knew Arabella and Matthew had been spending time together lately because of Robert’s treatment, but she never expected them to appear as close as they did in the photos–acting almost like a couple.
She couldn’t accept it!
And she wouldn’t!
Arabella, still groggy, was bombarded with Naomi’s frantic questions.
Looking at Naomi’s furious face, she felt completely bewildered.
What was she talking about?
Meanwhile, Jonathan and Florence, who had been listening carefully, exchanged a concerned glance.
They both looked skeptical.
Then Jonathan turned to Naomi and said soothingly, “Naomi, calm down first. Let me see what this is about.”
Naomi handed her phone to Jonathan.
When Jonathan saw the photos, his eyes narrowed slightly.
Noticing the change in his expression, Florence leaned over to look at the phone screen.
The moment she saw them, she gasped. “It is Arbella. But who took these?”
“Somebody with a camera phone, no doubt–probably sold the pics to a gossip rag. If they hadn’t taken these, we’d still be clueless,” Naomi aid flatly. She’d been sure Arabella and Matthew were up to something sketchy for ages she just hadn’t had the proof until now.
