Suddenly, Carter thought of something. He looked at Zack seriously and suggested, “Since no hospital will take him, why don’t we try finding an alternative healer? Someone who sets bones outside the system?”
“An alternative healer? Are they even reliable? They could make it worse,” Sarah said, her voice thick with distrust.
“We’re out of options. Let’s go with Carter’s idea and try. We need to move fast before word spreads and even those avenues close. Right now, we just need someone who can set that bone!” Zack decided.
“Carter, let’s split up and make calls. Ask around for any reputable practitioner.”
“Alright. But first, let’s get the kids home instead of waiting here. Once we find someone, we’ll take Dylan straight there,” Carter stated firmly.
“Okay, let’s go,” Zack said, as he and Carter helped a groaning Dylan out of the hospital lobby.

The next day, in the CEO’s office at Horizon Corporation, Andy reported respectfully from the front of the large desk, “Mr. Stewart, your instructions have been carried out. No hospital accepted Dylan.”
“Good. Maintain surveillance. The Macdonalds and Johnstons won’t give up easily–they’ll look for other ways to get him treated.
“Report any developments immediately,” Matthew instructed, his tone steady.
“Yes.”
“What about the investigation into Marla I requested some time ago? It’s been a while with no update,” Matthew inquired, looking at Andy.
“I’ve been looking into Marla. She hasn’t made a public appearance since the last one we noted, which is why there’s been no new information.
“But rest assured, I’ll continue to dig. The moment there’s a lead, I’ll report back.”

“Look into whether Marla encountered any trouble abroad,” Matthew instructed.

“There’s another matter. Since the Hamilton family handed the pharmaceutical plant over to Arabella to manage, it seems Ethan is planning to invest further capital to expand it,” Andy reported.
“It appears the Hamiltons hold their returned daughter, Arabella, in much higher regard than they did Naomi.
“Though it’s understandable. Arabella is demonstrably more capable than Naomi, so the family’s esteem is natural.
“Still, Ethan investing to expand… Is it purely brotherly affection, or does he see genuine potential in the venture?” Matthew pondered, his brow slightly furrowed.
“I believe both are possible. The Hamiltons gave Naomi a design firm to run before, and Ethan didn’t invest then.
“Now, with Arabella managing a pharmaceutical plant, he wants to fund its expansion. This suggests his support isn’t just sentimental; he likely sees strategic potential in the project,” Andy analyzed calmly.
Listening to the analysis, Matthew nodded in agreement. “A sound assessment. Arabella’s medical expertise is exceptional. Perhaps the Hamiltons aim to leverage her strengths for a serious move into the pharmaceuticals sector.
“Keep monitoring Arabella and the plant’s progress. Also, task someone with investigating the whereabouts of Arabella’s former medical mentor,” Matthew instructed.
