“Well, Naomi’s birthday is coming up. We should invite Robert and Matthew, of course. Young people need opportunities to spend time together.”

“Right, Robert and Matthew have come every year. They’ll likely attend,” Jonathan agreed.
“We should also invite some other promising young professionals. Perhaps there’s someone suitable for Naomi.” Since Matthew had made his lack of romantic interest clear, it was time to explore other possibilities for her.

The family’s long–time houseman approached. “Yes?”
“Please have someone discreetly look into eligible bachelors in Doranor City who would be appropriate matches for Naomi, considering social standing and personal qualities. Bring a compiled list to Mrs. Hamilton.”
“Right away, sir,” Paul replied before leaving the room.
“Wouldn’t it be wonderful if we could see favorable prospects for both our girls around the time of the party?” Florence mused wistfully.
Jonathan smiled warmly. “Finding suitable candidates would be a great start. The rest isn’t something we should rush.”
After all, the young people needed time to get to know one another.
“I know, I know. But it would be a relief to see them settled,” Florence said.
The two continued their comfortable conversation. Meanwhile, upstairs, Naomi didn’t go straight to her room. Instead, she paused and knocked on Arabella’s door.
Arabella opened it and frowned slightly upon seeing her. “Yes?”
“Nothing urgent. I just thought we could talk,” Naomi said with a practiced smile.

Just as she was settling back into her work, her phone rang.
“Hello,” she answered.
“It’s done. All the documents are filed and submitted. The process is in motion now, and corporate approval should come through. soon,” Colton’s voice announced.
“Your efficiency keeps improving,” Arabella said, a hint of a smile in her eyes. This was excellent news.

“Fine, I’ll treat you to a proper dinner,” Arabella replied, amused and slightly exasperated.

“Deal,” Colton said, sounding satisfied.
“Talk later.” Arabella ended the call.
She then picked up her phone and sent a text, “Edward, picking you up for your appointment tomorrow.” She didn’t mention the company progress, saving it as a surprise.
‘Okay, see you then.”
After reading Edward’s reply, Arabella felt a warm sense of satisfaction.
Putting her phone aside, she refocused and dove back into her proposal…
The next day, after breakfast, Arabella went to pick up Edward as planned.
Seeing Alfred was also there, Edward said apologetically, “I’m sorry for the trouble”
“It’s no trouble. You’re Arabella’s brother, that makes you a friend,” Alfred replied calmly

“Alfred, Edward needs a full work–up. It’s going to take a while. Why don’t you go handle your own errands? I’ll call you when we’re ready to head back,” Arabella suggested.
