“It seemed like Mr. Stewart was rather concerned about you,” Edward observed.
He believed that if it weren’t for Arabella, Matthew wouldn’t have intervened today.

“When I was treating Robert, I also helped Mr. Stewart manage a chronic stomach issue. Since then, we’ve had some professional overlap,” Arabella explained simply.
“I see,” Edward said, not pressing further.
“Edward, let’s go tour the departments,” Arabella suggested.
Edward looked at her, his expression turning more serious. “Arabella, about what Harper said earlier… do you know something about it?”
He could tell Arabella hadn’t seemed surprised at all.
Arabella lowered her gaze slightly. “Edward, I don’t know all the details. I just know the company’s licensing hit some roadblocks, and I asked my friend to help clear them.”
She didn’t want to be too blunt, worried it might be too much for Edward to process.
Hearing this, Edward’s hands clenched unconsciously, a cold feeling settling in his chest.
“So what Harper said was true. They not only refuse to support me, they’re actively trying to stop me.” Edward’s heart ached. Was this really his own family?
Seeing his pained expression, Arabella sighed softly. “Edward, what’s done is done. There’s no point dwelling on it.”
“But they’re my family,” Edward said, struggling to accept it.
“I know. That’s why my advice is this–since you’ve chosen your path, walk it without looking back. Let any setbacks become motivation to push forward,” Arabella said calmly, her gaze steady.

Seeing he had moved past the emotional hurdle, Arabella grinned playfully. “So, can we go inspect your company now?”
“Your Majesty, after you,” Edward said with a slight, affectionate bow, gesturing for her to lead.
